Most guys don't talk about 14-02D since most didn't even know it existed!! Please keep your comments about MEC's to what you have knowledge of!! For you that would be the OLD UAL mec and as far as the OLD CAL mec let old CAL guys give their own opinions of what they think! I think you would be VERY disappointed if you heard what the furloughed guys told me while flying together what they thought of the OLD UAL mec!! Remember, the new UAL MEC is made up of both airlines, with many of the same people you despise! Why don't you answer my question I asked many posts back. What are YOU (Staller/Carol/John) personally going to do to hold them accountable! Please tell me it's not ripping them a new one anonymously on a forum that few pilots participate on!

 

Since you jumped in the conversation. I think the furloughed would have a different opinion now that SLI is over. Didn't you want to staple a bunch of them to bottom of the list. You guys had one of the most dysfunctional MEC's in ALPA mostly because you allowed your leadership bully you into submission.
When talking about holding our leadership accountable, you need to get off your ME MINDSET and come around to the WE MINDSET. They work for you but you(we) need to give direction. When you(we) don't give them direction, you(we) allow them to work in their own best interest. YOU LOSE. Tired of losing yet?

Not that you believe anything I would say. It's ironic that you would bring up SLI! That is what they are most upset about with UAL MEC! Overall, thought UAL didn't play hardball enough against CAL proposal! (I had to agree somewhat with them!) Both before and after SLI! As far as losing, I(we) guess I(we) like losing since I(we) thought the SLI went very "fair" as far as I(WE) are concerned! I gained 3% thats doesn't seem like a loss? But hey, Roll tide!! And as far as holding MEC responsible not only do "I" ( I don't need a whole group of my peers at computer with me while writing to my reps!!) to be a team player!! I've been very involved with Comm. work on the Union and just because peoples opinions don't always go with your convoluted ideas doesn't mean they are not being held accountable! I have a feeling you have never been involved by your comments and lack of ability to answer a relatively easy question!!

 

Your side's proposal got chucked in the can. That is the problem with extreme or "hardball".

 

I guess I don't speak plain enough! I thought the UAL proposal was FAIR!! Both before and after the SLI I thought UAL formula was going to be the way the list would be constructed!! Made more sense and had more logic!! Thats not really my point, just having a little debate with john about how the "mighty" UAL MEC will change things!! He still hasn't answered (surprise) how HE is going to hold NEW MEC accountable? He has had said how bad CAL MEC was and now we'll all win! I'm just asking how? I feel the reason is many guys don't like JP, particularly john! Yet, he was highly effective with profit sharing, bids, MOU's, and many of CAL's concern! That's what I truly think got under johns skin! There could be a thread on airplane color and john/staller/carol would turn it into JP conspiracy and that he must own the paint company!! As far as the SLI are you sure all of CAL's proposal was all tossed out? I think it was built using UALs formula but changed up, see Longeveity from 50% to 35% using some of CAL's argument. It's over I'm glad you think it's fair since I think this will be a strong airline with both groups!! Does it REALLY matter now who WON?

 

Guys like me? You don't know SH/7 about me..but again, you feel like you have the right to put another cal pilot down. People run for a position, I vote accordingly..you sound like because its a " ual" mec, than they are pure and whole...and every cal rep was not good. The traitors sold me down the river, not JP or JH. Fwiw, I too was furloughed, I too would not pick up ot while guys were furloughed/ and during contract negotiations...you don't have to be a wannabe brain surgeon to be a team player..maybe you should google "team player"

Rant? Everybody funny...now you funny too! I'm simply stating you don't know sheeeet! You think you do, but you don't. You treat( on this forum,behind a keyboard) cal pilots like crap..hence you don't know what your talking about. We really are a good group of guys/ gals...really we are. Not brain surgeons mind you, but overall a pretty good group. And yes, I know we have scabs, just like you.

 

Not really just like us. More like 8 times as many scabs, considering you had a much smaller pilot group (4,700 vs 7,400) be percentage it was a ton of scabs.
