I'm sure they company just did the token 30 pilot base opening bid so that they can BAT all the 76T folks over from ORD and SFO before the December deadline of the LOA.

Wasn't a token bid. They were required to do that per LOA. They won't be able to force BAT "all" 76T pilots in ORD and SFO to the 756. They can only force half of the need with involuntary BATS.

Just like they follow everything else in our contract? I guess I just believe they will make the numbers work to their favor whenever possible. Just my take on working for this crack management team the past few years.

756 = Legacy CAL 757-200, 757-300, and 767-400.
76T = Legacy UAL 757-200 and 767-300.
CAL jets have better avionics setup and are all ETOPS. Most UA 757s are not. UA jets being modified to same avionics standard as CAL jets.
Still different engines UA 757s Pratt; CAL Rolls. Fleets expected to merge eventually...maybe later this year.

UA jets have "fast/slow" indicator on left side of EADI, CAL has Vertical Tape airspeed with flap reference marks.
UA jets have carpet on floor in cockpit. Cal are metal.
Cal RR engines have significantly more thrust than UA Pratts.
