Where do many frequent flyer miles get spent? Hawaii of course. Hence the 777 cattle car. Even so, I think suggesting that a single aisle 737NG is more comfortable to the islands is, well, just part of your nonsense rant.

Not this crap again. Can't we get to a point where we go to work, do our job go home, enjoy family, drink beer, collect paycheck, and rinse and repeat? The "your planes are inferior to ours" stuff got old real quick. Clue: All our airplanes are belong to us now!

Mainland to HI is one of the longest ETOPS segments on the planet.

My opinion is a "nonsense rant"? Wow! Do you ever read your own posts?

Half of my "crossings" were from down under or Asia. And, I think most of us pilots that actually fly those routes consider them crossings. I didn't bother adding the 600 plus North Atlantic "crossings" in the last 30 years. Not once did I land in Goose and pi$$ off 200 customers because of an old POS B767-300 started shacking. Really?

Rant over.

Your milage may vary.

...and all of "OUR" 737's are an inferior product in an overwater market. UA jumped into the HI market with 737's because they're cheap, not because it's a better product.

True, but what ocean does that route "cross"?

Haha, good one! The 73-900ER is a very nice plane but should not be flying to HI.
