What's the word on when invites will start for august interviews?

 

2-3 weeks out seems to be standard.

 

There are currently no planned interviews in AUG.

Sept is the last publicly announced resumption after the two weeks in June coming up.

 

Out of curiosity, were the June interviews publicly announced as of April or March? I seem to recall not seeing anything about them, until all of a sudden mention of calls going out the other week sprung up.

 

They were announced the first week of May.

 

The below is a quote to the UAL Poolies from the Sr. Hiring Manager via email blast.

"We have just filled the 6/17 class and there are now 102 of you left in the Pool. New manpower numbers were given to us this afternoon. We will be moving up a number of 76T slots from August to July in order to meet the needs of that fleet. We now expect to have all of you in a class no later than August 12th or 26th."

With the pool empty in August and only 2 weeks worth of interviewees to fill the remaining August slots and September......expect September as advertised, but be prepared for August interviews. There were several folks swimming in both UAL and DAL pools and DAL just emptied there pool. Folks from interviews 2 weeks ago have been offered classes in July. So it is possible UALs pool will empty faster than they expect.

BK continues to tell Poolies that "things from Manpower Management are changing rapidly".

I am only a NH, but very close observer (see Poolie thread) and it looks like UAL Interview/Hiring will finally ramp back up in August/September (if not sooner)!

Lots of statements like "they have been interviewing all week" on the Poolie's thread, but not seeing much discussion here on this thread? Anyone on APC here getting calls for interviews?

 

I'm guessing these are the June interviews we've been anticipating for the past month or so. Those calls went out back in May. It seems like the calls are going out around 2-4 weeks prior to the interview to allow time for the Hogan screening, scheduling concerns, etc.

Next round of interviews will be for September (possibly late August) classes, so I wouldn't expect any phone calls until late July at the very earliest. More likely mid-August.

 

Recommend keeping a close eye on the Poolie thread.

A couple of folks as posted in there that an internal email has been sent saying interviews to resume 26 per week in AUGUST.

Likely to hear calls starting in July.

Thanks, MPA. If true, I'd say we can all take June off and resume nervously pacing in front of the phone around the second half of July.
