Got the CJO today! Told to expect an 11/11 class date. Initial call on 9/4, Hogan on 9/6, call to set-up interview on 9/8, and interview on 9/26. Did Cage prep but unable to get sim time with FTI nor Pan-Am as they were booked solid. Having 75/76 time helped though I highly recommend not going without the sim prep as I had a hard time without it. Dont over think the Hogan and just be your professional self during the HR portion.

Yeah all that giddiness will wear off in short order then reality sets in slowly but surely.

That's to be expected with anything in life be it a new car, new job, new girlfriend, etc. For those that have just successfully made an advancement in their careers let them have their few moments of joy. These guys just got hired at the beginning of the hiring wave. They have reason to be excited.

I totally get that as I grew up in the UAL family and have a fair amount of friends that were hired in the late 90's that have gone through the meat grinder over and over. A lot of these guys probably have no idea what the past 15 years at UAL was like. You all a great group of guys and I know you all will be supportive and educating to the new guys.

Howdy all…Long time lurker here and its been really great hearing everyone getting hired and moving on, congrats to you all!! Anyway, I'm going to be attending an job fair in the near future and was wondering what kind of questions are the UAL recruiters asking at these things?…. Thanks in advance and good luck to those waiting on the call!

I've found that the UAL recruiters are very nice and really just want to go over your resume with you. They'll ask questions about your experience and give some advice. I asked the recruiters what they fly, what advice they'd have for a new hire, and how can I make myself more marketable to UAL.

AA asked technical questions at OBAP 2014.
