Not much of pool----other than just enough to keep the weekly classes filled with a very small buffer.

There have been "official" statements on both sides of that number but the one consistency has been the intent to hire as many as can be reasonably trained. As with anything, that number is fluid and changes hourly due to both internal and external factors.

I Interviewed 4 August and got emailed today for a 27 Oct class to give an idea of timeline. 6 320's and 9 73's in our drop. Another guy I interviewed with got a 20 Oct class date. Must be a small pool of training is less than 3 months.

Small pool indeed, we don't have flows so we can hire who we want and put them in class right away!!

When they called with the job and gave you a rough idea of a class date, was it supposed to be late Oct? Trying to see if my expect late nov/early dec will actually end up being early to mid nov....which would be nice.

It was mid November. Happy to start early though.

My app has been in for 3 years, still not a peep. Others get called within a few months... so it varies quite a bit.

It was like that 35 - 40 years ago when I started the app process. Hasn't changed except for digitization and the web. Back then none of us knew exactly how the app pile was stacked. I wish all aspiring...the best.

Thanks! Good things take time, I guess. It does get frustrating after a while though.
