Sooner you make the jump to a major the better... If that is the path you choose. Every month you wait another 100 get put in front of you on he seniority list... And seniority is everything.

If any new hires who have a pure military background like myself are willing to entertain a couple questions about the paperwork I have to bring to Denver, please send me a PM.

Take 3 copies of your resume. They asked for it and had me brief in 5 minutes my background using my resume. The other mil guy that was there interviewing with me did not bring any copies of his resume. It doesn't say to bring them but they will ask.

Thanks! What about my FEF/Forms 8? Most companies want those but the welcome packet I received doesn't mention it.

I took mine just in case there were questions. They didn't ask.

They never asked for anything else except what is in welcome packet plus resume.

Very simple and streamlined.

Does United ask for a copy of your transcript for interviews?

Yes they do but they can be copies and don't have to be the official, sealed transcripts.
