You guys enjoy the new and improved circle-jerking! Later.

That said, we don't need to re-hash the emotional arguments of the SLI. We enter section 6 negotiations in less than a year so maybe we should put the divisive BS aside and come together to fix the many problems we see in the UPA. Or, folks like you can continue to post in the sophomoric way that you do, because it makes you feel good. Have a nice day.
C'mon now Jimmy J, we all know an on time Delta ++ contract is just around the corner. El Hefe certainly realizes the value of a happy, motivated pilot group. I say we keep fighting, forget this unity BS, and elevate it to the level of Usair east vs west. Happiness is always found in a slugfest.

So yesterday I am pass riding from IAH to SJO in the back of a 737. During the boarding process it is about 98 deg and humid, generally MISERABLE in the cabin. Do you think that the Jr. Wonder cAPTAIN would turn on the APU since the PC air was obviously not cutting it?

These guys are truly amazing cookie cutter company men.

HEY idiot......The code is misc PN! Turn the frisking APU ON and quit torturing your PAX. force the company to fix this stuff!

I guess I missed every single meeting where we '05-'06 hires planned how to perpertarte this devious seat grab. Hopefully you find something else to be bitter at now that this is being 'fixed.'

So did you say or do anything about it Hoss? I can't stand heat on transportation so plenty of times I've gone to purser and even pit to make clear the need to turn the dang APU on. Sitting there and cussing out Frank Lorenzo culture doesn't fix anything.

Also how do you know future scab cAPTAIN was even there during the boarding process? Perhaps he was in the flight planning area briefing his FO on tropause heights over Columbia as he/she SHOULD do per the FOM.

Come on Ben do the right thing for UNITY that you wanted everyone else to do.
Don't think you brain surgery'd this idea on your own. At the end of the day, I doubt that I'll be displaced in this round due to volunteers Sr to me whom I have spoken to. I will voluntarily take the displacement and that's certainly not your idea. And even after bumped, I will continue to fight for those still holding on.

Very astute observation Sleeves. Just so you know, there are guys who are absolutely livid that there are far fewer than the originally planned 350 displacements. We'll keep fighting for our fellow Pilots and mitigate as many displacements as we can. I'll be doing that from EWR; whether "involuntarily" or "voluntarily" displaced.

Just as long as we fight within the bounds of the contract. We wouldn't want any special treatment or back room deals would we?

Serious question? What would you consider a "back room deal". This is about the most ridiculous statement that I've ever heard. What in the world do I have, or have ever had to offer in these contrived "back-room deals"?

It sounds like you firmly stand against back room deals. That's good to hear. I'm glad you're looking out for all our interests when you propose a special 24 mos grandfather rights for displacements.
