If you want a career d!ck measuring contest, you win. My mere 15 years as an instructor, regional, charter, and now legacy airline pilot pales in comparison to yours.

Despite that, I have had enough jobs in my life to know that $11,000 is way too low for any pilot job in recent history. $11,000 a year is below minimum wage. I made more than that in high school. Have you adjusted your former $11,000 for inflation?

Incase your not, they will try and steal every part of the contract, and there are numerous grievances.
That is a way of life here at workers paradise. It will be fun to watch all the new Kool Aid drinkers after they get screwed hard by the company and wonder why after they just waived the contract to help them out.

In 1991 they weren’t called the regionals. They were called the commuters. 12k / year was common for an fo first year pay. My second civilian job I got on with one of the higher paying ones at 17k first year.

Glad you know your airline history. I didn’t know I was part of the problem.

Well, what do YOU want? A, “poor me, I had to suffer in life medal,” because some guys have it a little easier going through than you did? There’s a difference between entitlement and calling out BS...

And don't forget to add that many of the commuters, and even some of the Majors (TWA) made you pay for your training, or in TWA's case your hotel and meals while in training.

FTFF

Who is saying poor me
What was BS
What do you have to add to the discussion...besides BS

What I am saying is get your head on straight as a new hire and do what you have to do. People are watching the nonsense new hires are doing with interest.

Maybe you’re another one that slipped through the cracks at UPS.

My suggestion to you is take your whiny add-nothing to the conversation attitude and go sit in the corner and color. Maybe you can get another participation medal for doing that.
