I got a few bid packets. Hopefully someone can help answer a few questions for me.
when you bid, you bid for two periods. Do you bid the two consecutive line numbers? Example. Bid line 1 and 2 or can you bid line 1 and line 100? Guess I’m confuse because the Z and 747 packets have what appears to be two months together it seems. But light twin doesn’t?
what are VOR/VTO lines?
sorry if this has been answered.

You may have some of the single pay period, 28 days this year, 35 days like every 5th year, Bid packs for Bid Period 21-07, Pay Period 21-12, 31 Oct to 27 Nov.
Then we have the normal 56 day bid period 28 Nov Bid 22-01pay period 21-13 to 25 Dec and pay period 22-01, 26 Dec to 22 Jan 2022.

Here’s some more code translation:
DH is deadhead on company,
DG is ground deadhead or ground reposition
CML is a deadhead on a pax carrier.
RA, RB, RC, and RD are reserve duty periods at different times of the day.
SA, SB…. Are the same but scheduling can shift the duty times of the line by +/- 4 hrs (limited).
VTO and VOR are composite secondary lines that are built from the leftovers of the first bidding window - trips that need to be covered from people’s vacation, training and overlap conflicts, PLA’s, etc. These lines get built after the primary bid - those who get VTO or VOR on that will bid on actual VTO/VOR lines about a week after the primary bud closes. VOR lines are VTO lines that can include reserve duty days to bring line credit up.
Base trip lines = the leftover trips from primary pairing/line creation that can’t otherwise be built into contractual lines. Mixed bag lines essentially.
HoT = hot standby. Airport standby or Dozing for dollars. You on ready alert usually sleeping in a sleep room.

On 7576 SDF, does rsv go senior? I am assuming that the PHL/RFD go pretty senior? DH In and out with a hotel?
what about the other rsv? As a new hire and commuter seems like this are the best options until you can hold 5-7 days on with a week off.

One of the FOs currently doing RFD hot is #2 FO (94 hire) I believe. The out of domicile hots have almost always gone senior to people who live nearby.
