I interviewed May 21st for an FO position. Still haven't heard anything back. Really was hoping for a late June, early July class.

I actually read it as negative... As in the SSP won't increase by much because the company can't afford to lose any more senior CAs and check airmen right now. We'll know soon enough though.

It will be tied to some metric. x for now, y when the company hires so many people.

Couldn't agree more. I had a conversation with someone moving to AA and the outlook does not seem very promising. On a side note, many pilots that I have the opportunity to talk did not come with the intention to flow to AA.

Most I've talked to really couldn't care less about flowing. There will be so many opportunities in the next 5 years that going to AAG is just one possibility.

So what, be happy for him. You know this isn't a paid job. I would rather see no union, but certainly can't fault a guy for volunteering his time to try and make things better.

You should consider a small leave of absence to collect yourself a bit.

I would rather there be no flow for anyone. Actually though, I like the SSP deal better. If you are a dummy you just get bypassed to the next guy, makes it go faster.

I love the irony of you saying such a thing.

PSASUX,
We have our own company web board. Would you be this vocal without the screen name. I find the biggest complainers are usually the least informed and the biggest cowards. Regards, Michael 39%
