Looks like IAD opens the same day DCA closes. Why is ORD opening dependent on DCA closing?

No clue. Company says 18-24 months but we have guys that are sitting at 5 years with no upgrade. We have 4 FOs being paid as CAs because the company has refused to upgrade them even though they were awarded it about 10 months ago.

Not what I wanted to hear, but thanks for the info!

Default Atp/ctp

I was monitoring the discussion regarding the bonus commitments over the past days... Similarly, does anyone know if there is a commitment for accepting the ATP/CTP through Air Wisconsin?

It was a one year obligation when I went through, or you paid back the cost of the program (roughly $4k, if I recall?). This was a couple of years ago. They had us sign something stating that we'd pay it back but then never collected the letter.

I think that, if we can staff, we will start upgrading in 18 months and everyone on property will be upgraded within 24 months because we have so few FOs right now. We shall see.

Yes, 1 year commitment for the ATP/CTP.

I'm not following. If we have so few FO's, how can we upgrade them? I think 24 months is ambitious considering we have to bring in 200 new hires a year and they are competing for training resources. But hey, I'm optimistic.

I'm crossing my fingers that the CPP will just take care of the problem of slow upgrade.

Yeah, company wants it to seem like sunshine and kitty cats and it is far from it. That's the truth.
