I think I know the answer, but you never know....I recently left to an LCC, but before I left a few people were hired with my recommendation. They have All completed IOE and have been in property on the line for a few months.
I don’t remember seeing any FinePrint for the person recommending. Do you have to be employed to get the referral $$?

youre right, you already know the answer. You left because this place is such a sh!t show. They want to give those still on property a 1% raise in 2020 after 8 years of negotiating and you are hoping they will give you a referral bonus when you are no longer here.
Be happy you got out, and count that as your bonus.
also congrats on the new gig

Which in its own way may be even more telling, at least for the non-military types. Those with little seniority at stake finding it preferable to go elsewhere or quit the industry altogether rather than continue to work at Air Wisconsin.
That's not newbie's washing out of training, that's trained personnel making the decision it's a crappy place to work and they are going to go somewhere else.
That's scarcely reassuring to the newbie looking to apply.

Hes talking about people making lateral moves to other regionals. Not LCCs or legacies. Without speaking to each and every resignation its really impossible to know if this is an upward career move or a lateral one for them.

In 2016 pre-United CPA FOs were leaving for lateral jobs in large numbers. I think post CPA we lost a few already on property to the AA WO for those tied to PHL/ORF that wanted to not commute. I don’t know of anyone hired post CPA that are making lateral moves - but as said we have no way of knowing.

Well if he was talking about lateral moves it should not of been a reply to someone who was saying people are moving up. I won’t even consider moving to an aa w/o a lateral move for those without a college degree. The reason I say this is because it’s the only way the can move up to a major. But I don’t hear about droves of people going to other regionals, mainly moving up or to a AA w/o once they realize the won’t ever make it to big metal without that side step.

5k on the first check, 26k after OE, 10K a year (quarterly payments) every year you haven't upgraded. Not sure when the 8k prior type payment gets paid. I think it's lumped in with the OE payment. The 26k needs to be repaid in full if you leave before 1 year, and is prorated monthly thereafter until year 2. Not sure about the other two payments.

4 quarterly payments of 2500 in year 3 if not eligible for upgrade. Bypass and you won’t get it. No further bonuses after year 3.
