Which bases they shrink is possibly more important than the total number they cut, depending on your overall seniority vs base seniority. For example, they could close the Portland base which would be 3XX pilots. None of the Portland guys would get furloughed because they're all too senior but they would all be displaced to other bases.
Or they could take 10% off each base and it would only cause minor shuffling of bases.

He was saying that the resulting QOL for any pilot NOT FURLOUGHED will be more dependent on how much cuts/changes occur in their specific base as a result of a furlough vs the total number of furloughs system wide. |

How can I be the same seniority number as the seniority list from 2019? Didn't a bunch of people retire?
