I would name names but that would start a riot, people need to grow up and act like adults. Been a bad week, looks only to be getting worse. Company wants October 1st relief, union thinks they are smarter then the company. Large reduction bid coming. Still think 385, it’s going to look worse when it comes out though, 500-600.

They only run the seniority list twice a year.

Or could it just be this management team is completely incompetent?

Forgive me if I’m wrong here, but doesn’t the CARES Act prevent them from doing this prior to Oct 1st? Why would the union agree to giving them relief on this?

I wouldn’t argue... I think they are just scared SL, trying to save the company. Chaos can make everyone look incompetent though, there is a lot that each side could own in this whole thing. To the company’s credit, they owned it a little today, that is something.

HOW can the union give them relief??? I don't think they can, anybody who got furloughed under those circumstances would have a DFR case. Under CARES, I think only voluntary leaves/furloughs could fly.

Effective date will be October 1, 2020
Trust me the Union will be giving ZERO relief!

Ok so here’s where I own up to not knowing a whole lot about the 121 business:

How do these numbers affect my seniority during a furlough? Say I’m 2800 on the list and all of those 163 people were senior to me. How would that affect my overall seniority in the event of a furlough if they say cut back 10% or 15 percent of the pilots?
