So Delta is currently looking at and trying to mitigate a potential 16% furlough (2300 pilots) after cutting back severely on WB international, and NB domestic flying. And, dollar for dollar was financially not as strong a balance sheet as Alaska. But, although we never had WB flying (which necessitates far more crew members) that we had to cut back on, the rumor on here is also a potential 16% furlough of 500-600? AND we were already running incredibly lean pre-CVirus?
Gotta love it. In the good times, the growth, pay and work rules nowhere near Delta, but when it comes to a potential furlough percentage? Buddy we’ll try and match em point for point. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Well done!!!

Just rode into LAX on American....Middle seats are 'financially limited'. In other words, if they can sell the seat, then "suck it up-butter cup". Supposedly, they can sell up to 85% capacity including the middle seats.

You said significant downgrade bid in March. Wrong. You said 120 lax and sfo downgrades. Wrong. You said 40 pilots would take voluntary leave. Wrong. You said the bid results would be out Thursday. Wrong. You said the bid would definitely stand. Wrong. You said we would see the reduction bid the 29th. Wrong. Any other common sense knowledge you have to share?

120 SFO/LAX downgrade... really 100% true
May had I believe 38 leaves..April was artificially high do to no incentive lines. June and July where what, under 10?
The results should have been out Thursday, company’s uncertainty with the path forward with the bid and unions lack of cooperation all played roles
My understanding was it would stand. Company decision to furlough October 1st changed things significantly
Call your rep, company has told them they are forecasting a surplus of pilots.
