The possibility of being furloughed is a reality that all pilots understand. Is it scary? Yeah. Is it painful? Yeah. But it too shall pass, and whoever ends up on the street will be supported as best as possible.
Management will do what they think they need to do, and we'll do the same; which at this point in our history is to truly fight for an equitable contract, united, as one.

Dudes like OTZ will never go away.......guys like him have a combination of narcissistic behavior and sadistic behavior. There's a need to continue to come back here to (unsuccessfully) justify his need to feel "in the know", part of the inner cabal that leeches out choice info. It's a need to feel in control but also to somehow make himself feel better by dissemination of negative info to the masses to then act as the info savior. Quite compelling from a Freudian perspective.
All in all OTZ is here to feel in control, to feed an overly zealous ego and to feel superior. Judging from the numerous pages dedicated to his being an a******, I'd say it's been an epic fail on his part. Good luck with your management severance package you stoog.

I call my REPS & MEC officers weekly and I couldn’t be happier with their hard work and dedication to this pilot group! They are doing EXACTLY what the pilot group has asked of them! We are one unified group regardless of the false rhetoric from spewed by OTZ. This pilot group will NOT give one inch if we don’t gain 2 inches back from mgt. The Alaska pilots have given their entire careers for this company only to be given a second tier contract and a management team who only cares about shareholders. Southwest just announced a FULL schedule later this year and Spirit just announced a NEW HIRE class! Let that sink in! OTZ is a pilot who’s in with management, if he only realized he’s being used as a stooge. When B&B no longer need him, he will just be another number on the list.
Spirit thread guys confirmed there is no newhire class for pilots. Sounds like a bad rumor flying around.

Keep calling your reps, I will judge them on performance. To this point, I have heard the same rhetoric every four years, every four years “we finally have the guys with real fortitude”, every four years they push out one giant turd.😂
