If we don’t have a new contract, it will happen, it will get picked up... most guys in both seats are addicted to 90+ hours a month pay! The new premium will become high time turns and two days, and scheduling will offer them up.

That is my guess. I know, everyone laugh, laugh hard, I have been drinking again.

It will be 400 +- 50.... That came from M- and I would still bet that is the smartest guy at Alaska... I still think 385!
I'd be embarrassed to be an ALK pilot if we vote in a contract that has staffing effeciency gains and premium while guys are on furlough. Thereby leaving guys on furlough out even longer. Even if it has a raise.

This is a really clever divide and conquer post. You’re really following the union busting playbook.

So will I... easy words to write on a anonymous board though and this isn’t my first rodeo!
You really think guys and gals are going to sit around for 3 years without a new contract and scheduling improvements, I’m just not that naive. Have you heard of the Angry8

I am looking forward to the anger and shock email from the union, maybe even a podcast... How they were blindsided, how they warned the company they are cutting to deep, how it’s the wrong move on so many levels, how they know better than the company. It should be almost as embarrassing as the last one... Hope the Vp reads something canned again, another embarrassing I told you so, which we all know now only shows how clueless they were, or pretended to be ... More Captain slots in California, too big of a bid, too expensive to train... the dream team stuff... lots of chest beating and we told them so!

So you’re saying 350-450 in October and then another 6% or so to be furloughed after we vote in this new contract with staffing efficiencies?

No, that vote, along with single fleet will allow the company to be even more efficient, it will allow them to grow without bringing pilots back. In mind it will just assure this furlough is cost affective, keeping most of not all out 3 years.

It's pretty obvious at this point that there is nothing any of us could say to make him/them stop posting.

I am done... I was pretty upset the union publicly went after my credibility, knowing nothing, pretending to know everything. They look pretty silly now. Maybe they should try listening, instead of smearing. If they didn’t know, I really was trying to help. I think they knew though. They will claim 2 hours notice, when I have them a solid 60 days.

We all know you'll be back. Sooner than later I am sure.

Don't forget that a lot of the pilots at AS are watching what is happening at places like SWA and taking notes on what kind of leaders we have.

So it’s SWA this week, 4 months ago everyone said DAL had the best management... I get so confused. Will you be watching with your monkey and your darts?
