Hey thanks for the mention. Glad someone asked him the displacement question. He dodged it though. It all depends what the definition of displacement is. If you aren’t actually displaced you would have to wait for the next vacancy bid which is company discretion. Closing a base doesn’t require a displacement as long as your category and class are respected so that was a half truth.
He looked confused in a lot of questions. Maybe he needs to get more sleep at night.
Who is this Scott guy? Was he under Andrew’s desk? Is he even a pilot? How much is getting paid for this? I heard it’s a lot.

Andrew is correct; you have to read the whole thing not just one sentence that seems to support a certain position. Imagine the company going to arbitration trying to explain how losing your domicile doesn’t mean you’re displaced. Goes against the Contract, decades of industry precedent, common sense, and their own precedent when HNL closed and displaced pilots were allowed to “bump” wherever they chose that their seniority could hold. Time to turn the page......
