Absolutely! As far as I’m concerned if you were hired post contract here you have had it easy. You did not sacrifice a thing to benefit from the years of abuse we endured. You have been able to reap the rewards from those before you. Now when it comes time for you to sacrifice a little you start to btch and moan. Guess what, we all have to pay our dues. Welcome to the club. You’ll earn our respect when it’s deserved.

12 L 2 a “Displaced Pilots shall be entitled to exercise their Seniority against more junior Pilots in Seniority order.”

IOW you can go to any seat/domicile held by a pilot junior to you.

They are getting exactly what they want. SMH

Displace definition in Section 2 is specific to seat and equipment. I’m concerned that 12.L only refers to positions (which have nothing to do with domiciles)...

This is why we can't have nice things here.

Incorrect assumption. Quote where the CBA mentions domicile in the displacement language or definitions. Spoiler alert: it doesn't. It says Position.

Correct. Refer to the definitions section. Any words in capital letters are specifically defined. "Position" means Category and Class. No mention of domicile. One of our pilots pointed this out to me recently and I was shocked too. The union better do something about this before management bends everyone over with it. I'm sure their plan is to pretend they didn't know about it and make it look like the company stole something from us. That's what they do to cover up for their incompetence and inaction.
