I don't see anything in 12 L 2 about domicile, just position and position is just seat and equipment type. I think 6 E 2 addresses displacement from domicile for moving expenses - not sure if that applies to exercising seniority in a bump and flush.

This is not consistent with prior actions and interpretations by the company. Sorry, I will not continue this debate further on a public forum.

That is for moving expenses, which are irrespective of displacement rights. Yes, you get moving expenses if you are displaced out of your domicile. This doesn't state where you must go if you're displaced.
So what're you saying??? That displacement from domicile doesn't allow us to exercise seniority for a bump and flush? That ain't gonna fly, no way no how... If i get displaced from my domicile, i am bidding system wide for my next base. period. that's the essence of a bump and flush system.

There's a huge difference between displacement rights and bidding available open vacancies (determined by the company).

Wow.....maybe some non-pilots on here who don’t understand how it works but no matter it’s simple: I’m an ABE pilot & they close the base. I can displace into any seat/domicile remaining in the airline that my seniority can hold. Doesn’t have to be a vacancy, doesn’t have to be convenient for the company.

Whelp I am confused once again, imagine that. I was told that G4 was in the greatest position to come out of this crisis. Not only would they be first, but that opportunities would exist for them to grab flying from competitors.

Sounds like G4 is imploding and almost 30% of its pilots will be on the streets till 2022 according to company announcements from the TOOL. But MG is too smart to lie to his shareholders about the company's position.....right?

It seems weird that we are furloughing when we just announced 7 new routes on Thursday.

I'm sick and tired of this management raking in the highest profit margins in the industry and offering the worst of everything to their pilots. If they want any kind of deal it better be better than Delta, Southwest, United, every other airline in the industry. Sorry to all the junior guys who might be furloughed, but we've been abused for too long to give up anything at all. Never gonna happen.

And that's why something *voluntary* should be negotiated.
