Jr CA certainly wasn't Dec 2014! ...just a month ago? Not quite that crazy yet! A fair amount of folks from Aug & Dec 2013 upgraded, and the bid event went well into the Jan 2014 class, and at least one from May 2014. Those were mostly for the VBD base, with a few going to permanent bases. The last upgrade bid that came out actually went relatively senior, but the music stopped and their classes got cancelled and they're stuck in the right seat until who knows when.

There are a fair number of VBD CAs that are waiting to get SFB, PIE, or any other permanent base, as well as senior FOs in those bases eager to upgrade to their home base, so any NH FOs gunning for a quick CA upgrade may be waiting for a bit. This last flurry of upgrades that went so junior was kind of mind-blowing, and I'm not sure if it'll repeat any time soon, until the AB's start coming fast and furious in a few years. Who knows, there might be another big growth spurt after a contract a la Spirit!

Hi there,

I am a Westjet pilot, and I have a few questions for any Allegiant pilot that's willing to contact me. Please throw me a pm. The questions I have are regarding the history of your certification drives. Thanks in advance.

I'm curious to know as well. Not too much info on here about hiring and training. Did things slow down for the Holidays?
Thanks

Done hiring until the Spring. Last I heard planning on hiring 80 for 2015. Will probably be much more due to attrition. Many are waiting to see the results of the impending strike. We're giving it one last chance to be something other than a McJob.

Your Delta payrates are two years old. Current 757 rate is 226.00 an hour and I suspect all the other rates need to be adjusted up 6%. The DC plan and profit sharing will add an additional 30% to those rates at 15% each.
