No way! I just figured out who that was! Damn. Huge loss. Was he one of the 4 that were hired by WN last week? I hear there may have been another guy even more senior than him. Great dude, awesome instructor. Another good one, and so senior! There will be many more throwing in the towel this year. Too many companies hiring that don't treat their people like trash and their operation like ATMs. G4 does not deserve that kind of talent and dedication.

Best of luck to him. I'm sure he'll be happy over there.

Yep. We lost 2 very senior CAs, a semi junior CA and a junior FO to SWA. Heard another is waiting to hear from UAL and someone mentioned another 4 may be interviewing soon.

Really, up to $2million fines for an airline that keeps pax on a jet over 4 hours during severe weather event,

but an airline essentially strands hundreds of pax for complete mismanagement reasons gets nothing but an

"oh those bad airlines...." piece in the local paper????

Not sure who it is since he's on the 75-, but best of luck to him. I have one friend that lasted here a very short time and bailed to Atlas, another CA I've flown with recently bailed to United.

You know him. No need to post initials but let's just say that the guy does not need any coffee. He is a huge loss to the operation and they don't know it nor care. His departure will probably be the wake up call that we all need.

Thanks, I found out through the grapevine just now... and I agree not a good sign.

If a strike is approved, would it last long enough for me to get through training? I just want to check the box on my resume. MD-80 airliner, baby!

C'mon, that's all you got? Correct flame can't be so "in your face". It needs to be subtle. Try again.

Don't worry. With a name like ACE,
we'll just give you a pass on crossing
a picket line. The -80 is sooo worth it.
