That email gives you a small glimpse of the contempt g4 management has for pilots. It’s an ingrained culture that comes right from the top.

I like the subtle hint in the email that, although the entire computer system is down, the problem is, well, its kinda because so many of you guys called in sick, not just the IT issue. Thats great, insult me while you beg for my help. Keep on a BEGGING guys. They can't run IT, can't handle simple maintenance, payroll, FAR 117, A sick call let alone more, and they get their training dept shut down. This is the management team that wants to go all the way to a strike with us? These geniuses have some master plan?! Bring it on.

To make things even better, just got my August schedule. I got Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday off, alllllll month long. It's great!!

So did 55+ folks really volunteer on the system wide mission mode or is that just management trying to make it SOUND like they did?

I think it's all Flight Attendants.
I have nothing to prove that, but it would be amazing if all those Flight Attendants got the extra pay but no pilots were available or willing to fly those trips. I think only a few clueless 757 pilots will do MM anymore.
