This is a false premise propagated by certain elements within the company. If you look at the publicly reported financial reports, you'll see the vast majority of ALGT revenue comes from airline tickets and associated fees (baggage and drinks).

600 aircraft versus 60. 3500 flights per day versus what, on average based on their schedule 50?
Yeah ALG emergencies declared and MX are right on par (based on number of RASM, CASM and sarcasm) with SWA and others in the industry.
