Where in the world are you getting your info?? This "false oil indication" has lead to several engine replacements! I've personally rescued one of them. It's a known issue with a gauge line bracket that cracks & lets go, snapping the gauge line & spewing oil. Talked to a mechanic on another recent rescue & he said engineering is trying to get an alteration approved to mitigate this repeated problem.

Airbus guys....welcome to the 'G4 single-engine club!!'

Um, doesn't the System CP have an AA recall option that is rapidly approaching??

I know he does have one, but last I knew he wasn't planning on going back.

He's got a pretty good deal going for himself right now, why would he give that up?

I guess if you don’t have a motor seize up and die at the most critical juncture. Low, slow and on the go, then none of these count. Oh wait.

Default Aviation skill assessment

Just got an email with instructions to complete an Aviation skill assessment test. Has anyone done this or is it a new thing?

Because AA is forever. Allegiant is not.

By simply disconnecting the gauge from the actual sensor and gluing in the green range!
