Has anyone heard when the vote on the TA is supposed to be?

You've heard exactly what we've heard.

Late July ratification.

Early August implementation.

No rush. Let the attorneys and everyone in the NC go over the thing with a fine tooth comb.

If anything I've been hearing today is accurate then it needs to be voted down big time. I'll reserve final judgement till I actually see the thing, but from those in the know it sounds bad.

Hey Vegaspilot just out of curiosity, cause I have not heard much about the TA other than some pay scale numbers being thrown around, what makes you think it's bad?

I don't know where everyone is supposedly 'hearing things' about the TA, but I'm very hopeful the NC didn't cave on anything they've consistently said they were holding-out for in the various town halls they've held.
Yes, I was taken aback when the TA was announced, given all the FUD that had preceded it, & that the friggen' biggest-ticket contract items were still yet to be negotiated!!
I hope it's worthy of a 'Yes' vote...we'll soon see!!

I haven't seen anything official, just details were apparently passed to base reps and the SPC today. The pay is lower than I'd have liked, but I could deal with that. The work rules don't seem solid enough to me. Min days off are too low. 12 for line and 12 for RSV but can be reduced to 11/10 on peak months. Single days off are still allowed...as many as 4-6 depending on the month (that's ridiculous in my opinion...single days off need to go). No real changes to VBD/TDY language. There needs to be limits. No real changes to RSV rules and no long call. Only thing I see that's improved is if you're called out and stood down, you're off. But 117 already says you can't be put back on to a RSV shift without 10 hrs off first. 70 hour guarantee for line, 72 for RSV. That's low. Would like to see at least 75. PBS is staying, but at least to start its Merlot/CBI...it should be either line bids or a real airline PBS system. 401k appears to be a 200% match on 5% pilot contribution. Id rather see a straight company contribution.

Like I said this isn't anything official yet, but quite a few sources have echoed what I wrote above and they aren't happy. I'll wait to see the full contract before totally passing judgement, but I'm not liking what I'm seeing so far. The apparent lack of real improvements in RSV, TDY/VBD, and days off (huge) are rather disheartening to me...YMMV.

Spot on from what my base reps passed on today. I'll add No PTO, just a "sick bank" that can be used for drops...but you can't cash it out.

As for the pay rates... Puts us inline with current industry rates, but in 6 months to a year when all the others have their new contracts ours will be blown out of the water once again. Might be acceptable for a 3 year, but this is a 5 year agreement.
