Seems most guys I've read seem to be getting a thanks for applying or I guess a interview. No response at all ...is this normal?
Wow 3 whole weeks and you haven't heard from somebody yet?! That's outrageous! Oh man, I would just go apply right away to United, Delta, or American. I hear they respond in about a week or two and have you on line shortly after that.

Maybe someone else can offering a different experience, but from the guys that I have talked with and my own experience that is not the case. Typically, you either get the interview invite very quickly or it takes a while, if ever, for the reject email. If you get the reject email quickly it usually means there was something wrong, such as not meeting minimums.

Don't know for sure but it would seem logical that an immediate rejection might mean the computer rejected it, and a delayed rejection might mean that a human rejected it.

I would assume that to be true as well.

I received the invite to complete the assessment and the video interview the day after I applied.

Have you heard anything since? Anybody know what the typical timeline is for application-phone-video-interview-class date?

Couldn't have put it better myself!

Graduated in 2005.
Since then I was laid off, had to live and fly on regional's pay in third world country for 6 years, have Douglas, Airbus, Embraer and 747-400; -8F type ratings with thousands of hours and I still don't seem to get any offers that pay more than $4500/month gross, all the while being fed this "pilot shortage" verbal diarreia! It's like the ultimate form of verbal humiliation.
How can kit darby and his alikes (flight schools, regionals etc) be so out of touch with reality!?!
Are they really just gonna go on with this gibberish without ever being held accountable?

It's been 5 days now and haven't heard anything back. I read a few pages back to expect 7-10 days.
