The line construction window could possibly get that high, allowing 17 days on. In a 30 day month, that would be 13 off. I'd say 98% of the time 14 off is the minimum for line holders.
For line holders, it's 10 guaranteed days off, regardless of month length.

I’ve been there. Training months a junior line holder typically sees 10 days off which massively blows.

No you don’t. You need to consult the proration table at the back of the PBS guide. CQT complicates it further. Always call the help desk when in doubt.

I am looking at section 15.D.4.k (reserve proration table). With 7 days vacation and I believe you said 4 days for R9 so 11 days unavailable. 30 days (march bid month) - 11 = 19 days available which gives you 12 reserve days and 7 days off .

Just to clarify, the 4 day block is your R9 correct?

I have no doubt if I am wrong someone will help correct us both.

PRS, when I replied just now I totally forgot that CQT isn't truly a 1 for 1, you are right it definitely complicates it. I had R9 in March of last year and I will go look but I think I had 12 or 13 days of RSV. Let me look.

EDIT: just looked...had 12 total days with R9 and Vacation

r9 is a 4 day event yes. and I did a 4 day rsv block to be a valid stretch. I figured the 8 days was too good to be true. didn’t plan on them both being in the same month. but they bought training from me in february. maybe they will do it again and i’ll dequal

Will Do. Hopefully it’s the Powerball so I can turn in my vest and be done w 450am cleveland walks all winter. That feb break was needed. Not getting a vacation in 2018 was painful. I never got the float memo, but I sure AF planned on using it all!

Yes. The training credit kills you...especially if you end up with a 5-day CQT pairing.
