I believe this is correct as well. If hired on the USAir side after the 12/13/13 date you get your pay increase on your hire date and not your qualification date or whatever the hell they call it.

1800 seniority is 1985-1989 hire depending on which airline you came from

I’m assuming (s)he meant 1800 off the bottom which would be more germane. Which is May of 2018.

Heads up..APA is twisting the knife in us further. Now this TTS 2.0 nonsense has reached a new level of absurdity. Forget pilot to pilot trades. Forget picking up a trip posted for drop. Now, if a pilot wants to post a trip for drop it has to go through the TTS 2.0 laundry room first where it's up for grabs in seniority order.

Of course this only comes out AFTER everyone has already bid for ZTLs.

Question. So why did we get an email yesterday saying that they voted for option B, and now today they voted for option A?

Never seen a more pro management union.

TTS 2.0 yes? No? I’m confused. I think the intent of 2.0 is to cut down on pilots trading amongst groups formed within particular 3 part bid statuses. Also to discourage the use of third party bidding programs and influencers. LightSaber for instance. Senior pilots not willing to fork over money to play the game are envious of junior people who are savvy and able to get primo trips that would Normally go to senior pilots. In a perfect world APA would run a LightSaber type app that everyone could use. AA won’t let them because you have to give them your password and that is against AA policy. They can’t stop anyone from giving a password to a third party but they can stop APA from getting it.

They are trying to make it fair. I don’t care one way or the other. I never use TTS. Now it looks like I will have to.

the moral of the story is we all want more liberal trip trading to better our schedules. Will 2.0 fix it? I doubt it. The only way would be make every trip green. That is not happening.

That $20/month for LiteSabre might break those senior wide body captains with their measly pay rates. I'm glad the union is saving me from this future horror by thrusting a bigger one on me now.
