Bankruptcy

The books have been slowly morphing to AA standards for decades. They're so close now that OE for an Envoy flow is pretty much airplane stuff only. Using the computer, DECS/RES, the apps, EFB, and company policy and procedure are so similar that the AA CKA say it's the easiest OE to do. Once they get the other two regionals on board it will be time.

One of the three AAG regionals is already run by an AAG Corporate Officer. The other two just have their own CEO's.

True, my use of the "b-scale" word was for effect. In reality it would be a pay and work rules increase for the regional guys..... and worse work rules and pay than current APA book. Not exactly a B-scale... but pretty close. just bump all the categories up one level creating a new Class 1 aircraft group which would be the RJ's. You'd still need a carve out for work rules on the RJ's, but not as large as some would think. Heck, with all the triple time pay going out the door now, they'd actually save money just merging and getting rid of the triple pay.

If memory serves, the Group I pay is 70 to 80% of Group 2. My educated guess is future 220-100 purchases (assuming there are), would be Group 1 (the rate of the former E195). If the 76 seaters come to the mainline, they would be at a pay rate somewhat less than Group 1. That would be more than current RJ pay rates. They would, however, have an AA seniority number. AA would be hiring directly into them. That is my crystal ball.
That contract specifically mentions the "CS100" as G1, the "CS300" as G2. Currently now known as the A220-100 and A220-300, respectively.

Of course, and for bringing all the 76 seat pilots aboard the mainlines, with their planes and added seniority numbers, I am confident something could be negotiated.
