I was in the july 27 class and we were told we can bid on it.

The negotiating committee is about to serve the BOD a proposal. Even with the BOS, ORD, and LGA capitulators I don’t think it’s going to be enough to vote on. We have a massive amount of leverage because AA screwed up training so bad.

This is going to be fun to watch. We can’t man what we have. Add in retirements and new aircraft and then you have a massive conundrum.

Only a great contract could solve their problem and I am not holding my breath for that.
excellent post

Widebody FO positions at AA might become even more senior now. Meanwhile Delta is now handing out widebody A350 positions to new hires. Different world we find ourselves in I guess.

Unless they offer LGA 737 CA to the indoc class.

Just kidding,…… I think.

Yes, basically by that Friday after you start you should have access to be able to put in your preference.

I'd settle for the 330s back and a 330NEO order. Bet they can be had for cheaper than 350s.

No. No. No. It's gotta be Boeing. As a matter of fact AA even introduces Boeing procedures to the Airbus side because it's always been that wAAy. Can't wait for that mechanical checklist to show up next to the DCDU!

Read the Delta forum. Lots of discussion about how their management is worried they are stuck with an orphan fleet of 330neos as no other airline will order them. If they’re to be believed, Airbus is going to cancel that model.
