Had a lot to do with Royal Air Maroc joining oneWorld and leveraging their African network. AA isn't forward thinking enough to build an African network, which is supposed to see massive population growth over the rest of the century.

At this point I am more worried about our competition moving into our turf (MIA, LAX). I gotta admit that LATAM / DL Codeshare deal was a brilliant move by DL. Will the XLR also be a game changer in MIA?

I don't think LAX has been our turf for a while now. UAL does way more business over the Pacific, DAL the Atlantic. I'm hopeful the XLR can help reverse some of that over time, we'll see.

Hence why it's important that any upcoming TA include XLR flying at Group III rates minimum (would be great if all 321 flying was Group III...but international XLR flying absolutely should be Group III because this was done by 757s in years past).
