Well delta wears them….if we want those FAT profit sharing checks we better start wearing them too. And hats. And maybe matching uniforms too.

This is probably correct. Delta envy has caused more problems than it's solved.

The recent distance learning module on "communications" featured the airline's top ladder climbers, who emphasized the importance of insincere, overly friendly PA announcements and even included a segment on personally visiting first class to "thank" Advantage members.

I've done distance learning that's put me to sleep or made me roll my eyes but i've never had one make me angry.

Why does this make you angry? Delta really pushes this stuff because it actually does make a difference. If you don't want to do it, that's fine, but it shouldn't make you angry.

Because it shows how out of touch they are. If they think that's all that it will take and that our deficiency is something as trivial as that then we are doomed. Our planes look like Spirit but with a blue color scheme, and we have rats in our 20 year old admirals club in Philly

The EPs in the 80's were not working on their laptops or tuning everyone out with their airpods in

2 things can be true. I’ve been in the FC seats and seen some of our CAs come out and address the FC cabin. It’s easy for me to be cynical with the “hey jagoff, get back in the front and push early”; but I see the reaction from the cabin after the CA leaves and it’s a lot of positive head nodding

But nobody is under any delusion this makes up for the other areas the operation lacks. I think if the company starts/if makes an effort to premium travel, you might see less cynicism from the pilot group.
