In total, the 737 will always be slightly more junior just because it is such a terrible airplane to fly.
still waiting for the pendulum to swing through 737 being more senior than the 320.

And as somebody who has flown both, the extra room on the 320 is not worth the loss in pay due to the massive senority hit you take by bidding that airfame.

I see many people bidding back to the 'Bus but very few bidding back to the 73. I agree that seniority progression on the 73 will remain faster in both seats relative to the 320.

So, how bad is MIA? Looks like a lot of the new guys are starting there.

MIA has arguably the best flying in the system.

So is it just cost of living that makes it a junior base?

lots of different trips, a lot of domestic, some South American places. Hardly any Caribbean overnights anymore, LGA CLT and DFW seem to have the biggest share of those, but in total overall all, seems to be something for everyone’s flavor.

Yes, you really want to live down there to put up with the cost of living, the traffic, and the fact it is a tri-base. For a person who is looking to move to a base it is much easier to move to CLT, DFW, or PHX if you don't have a hard on for the Miami area and lifestyle.

Great flying, granted the victory laps on the last day is a bunch of BS. But it's still really good flying. Crews are awesome, it's almost like a different airline in Miami. Laid back and pretty chill. That being said, the traffic going north and south on I95 is its own special kind of hell. It's ridiculously expensive to live there if that's what you're looking for for and can be tough to commute in and out. Lots of commuters in and out of FL.

Easiest fatigue call ever, and you'll still get paid.

Flew with a guy who fatigues every single one. Each one deemed non-operational, each still paid because he worked that day on the inbound leg. He has a draft fatigue report that he just changes the flight details and times and submits on his walk to his car.
