Most junior upgrade from 320 FO CLT to 320 CA CLT is a 125xx number according to the most recent vacancy bid and was a January 2023 hire. So just about 3 years on property and 4000 numbers below them. Granted retirements will be slowing but to say it’s going to take 8 years is wrong

I think that is the same aberration that briefly made CLT 320 FO junior to the 737 and will correct itself in a few more vacancy bids. It is interesting though and for sure the 737 has better trips out of CLT currently. If you don't like 3-4 leg days and short overnights it is not a nice base to be junior in.

I was casually looking at changing bases and seeing what I could hold, and BOS had the most days off. 18 hour 3-days and 25-hour 4-days. But, when looking at it, their trips all start early and end late as it's an outstation base. So, pick your poison I guess.

320 is the only NB fleet that flies to HI out of PHX/LAX, in case you cared. Otherwise trips are pretty similar in PHX as far as I know.

So if the 737 is stagnant what’s the best plan for someone wanting to get into DFW as fast as possible? I’ve been told the 737 since it’s the more junior airplane, but could one get into a situation where the bus keeps growing in DFW but not the 73?
