With the new contract group 1 rate, getting more 190s would seem to make sense for the company...... Wish I knew the long term plan

I hear they are retiring some older 319s. That might be the reason.
Last I heard they are retiring the oldest 320's and refurbishing the 319's. Per the $2 bil capital investment announcement.

I think they will go hard one way or the other... Either get a whole bunch or completely get rid of them.... We will see.
They are putting new hires on the 190.

except that they are paying many of the 190 pilots other aircraft rates anyway, because of the hire training churn, and pilots being held. At least 40 FOs are being held (almost a third, probably more than a third of those off seat lock), so the 2nd year pay isn't an issue.

I think it WAS about 8 months (*Yes, I said 8 months) and they still had unbid vacancies on it. Any LUS care to comment?

I'd say if it was a great or even good deal then it'd get filled....so it must not be a good deal.

PHL or PHL. You can also bid over to PHL.

If I was a new hire I'd want the 190 for fastest QOL.

That is if you like PHL....
