Non-Military - non flow hire last year. I was hired from a wholly owned (10 years there...beat the flow by at least a year). Job fairs, taking advice from a recruiter and following up got me the interview. Interviewed in June 2017. I was caught up in a delay and got the call August 2017 for a November 2017 class date.

Thanks! I have a military background with enlisted/officer experience in aircraft maintenance. Currently flying for the largest fractional company(I do have a couple years at a 121 regional). Have been to three job fairs, LOR from AA recruiter and two others, it’s tuff to crack the code.

Not really. Don't worry about it. It's not used as a determining factor for the job. I honestly think they use it to see what your reaction is as some of the tests are frustrating and some are incredibly lengthy and boring. Stay positive and do your best. The test gets harder the better you do.

Nothing about the very positive experience I had there would lead me to believe otherwise.

However, the email says business attire, so that's what I did, and so did every other interviewee that was riding the shuttle to the hotel with me (around half dozen of us).

Had to break out my backup suit so that I wouldn't accidentally drop a Sbarro's on my interview suit.
Several guys travelled in khakis and a button-up shirt and all got the job. Day 1 was a mix of suits with no ties, slacks with dress shirts and no ties, and khakis and dress shirts with no ties. I don't think I saw anyone with a tie on day 1. Day 2 is interview suit and tie.

Ok thanks, Also do I need to print a copy my letters of recommendations or I should just upload them to my application? I’m looking forward to this interview process.

Just bring exactly what is in the email. You won't need anything else, and you don't take anything into the interview with you. Also, don't put all your stuff into a leather-bound tome with an AA logo on the front and a picture of you photoshopped into an AA 777 left seat embossed on the back. They collect everything in a little plastic envelope and will just have to sit there while you dig it all out.
