They got Generals over there at Delta?
Seriously, *** does that have to with a thing?
I am so happy this new reserve gig means I don't work. (145 hrs in 6 mos..)
Love my job, but, I don't think I have the patience left in me to smile and nod through yet another round of ignorant me-first life isn't fair whining quietly.
Grumpy old fart

Yeah-
I was in class with a General to be a flight instructor. He quit. I guess he could't handle the fierce Cherokee....

What is the timeline process for indoc/initial aircraft as far as location and time for LUS and LAA side. I realize there are some differences in time to train for different aircraft. Just looking for something general.

It will be seniority based on bidding training slots. I think they're going by age. Some will want a long break and some will want to jump in and get it done. I've hear of some people getting up 6 weeks off before training and some only about a week.

Two week indoc. Break - as Billyho said the break can be a couple of days or up to almost two months(less common now, a month at the most now??). Then aircraft training - two weeks GS, two weeks sims, 2-7(?) day break, then IOE (25 hrs).
Min time will be about two months from day 1 to signed off.
Max about 3-3.5 months.
Call it 2.5 +/-
