The 'glut' of w/b orders is only a 1-2 year bump. They're still taking the orders. They just said in a perfect world the delivery schedule would be slightly different. It's the net result of two different airlines ordering a/c and now being delivered to one airline.

Congratulations! Hell, we used to have to pay non-rev fees for the first 5 years w/the company no matter which cabin. Consider yourself lucky

787 deliveries total 30 in the next 3 yrs. Add in two 777-300ER's and 16 A350's by then and the w/b increase will be 23-28 airframes.
The retiring 767's might be replaced by 787's or upgauged with A332's, A333's, or 772's.

It was only ten bucks, one beer and a meal and you made your money back. Also, it was a great way to bump your chances of getting home up a bit, since most people didn't want to pay. Personally, I listed for it whenever I didn't have the jumpseat booked and the plane was close to full on commutes. I always listed for it for non rev personal (non commuting) travel.

1. For the people willing to pay the F/C fee it's a setback.
2. For the people who used to be unwilling to pay the F/C fee it's a gain.
3. On average the typical seat for #1 has gone down. The typical seat for #2 has gone up.
