He has no interest in that. He's voting yes and we all know it. It was obvious on C & R.

Funny that you have become a disciple of the USAPA way of negotiating.
Do you really even work for AA? You don't seem to know much about the contract.
If you do, you will be one of those guys screaming "Don't blame me, I voted NO!" for the next 5 years. Whether you actually did or not.
I don't know how I will vote. Probably yes unless there is a ton that I'm missing. You guys did this with the MOU. You didn't need us. You had the chance to show your displeasure over the last few months, but all I saw on C&R were guys listing premium trips to pick up.

Did it ever dawn on them that we can all be honest professionals and just tell Parker the truth by simply checking the "NO" on a ballot... And he might actually have no choice but to believe us???!!! He would have nothing to get an injunction, he would not have the concessions he needs, and he would actually have to accept the facts... I.e. The offer is not adequate.
Really. Could an honest approach be more persuasive/powerful than the deceit and unprofessionalism recommended by the "yes" voters?

Anyone that focuses on their own fears will sell cheap in negotiations.
Anyone that accepts the ploy that negotiations are over (when there has been no ale) will sell cheap. (Most pilots don't even realize we are selling and Parker is buying. We are selling industry standard productivity. He has to buy to be competitive.
Parker needs the concessions he wants to buy. He can't get those concessions in arbitration. We must agree to sell/give them to him. He will buy them now or later.
Oh nevermind... "We" the APA will fold like a cheap suit. Pilots don't know **** about negotiations, don't have the interest in learning, and never will learn from the past. We always fall for the same tricks on the first offer.
Always. Glass owns the pilots.

Are you SURE Parker can't get concession in arbitration? Even if he pays for them? A lot of smart guys I know think you are wrong there.
Part of me wants to vote no very badly for the simple reason that if we do, we will find out for sure what happens. If we vote yes, we didn't see it out to the end, just like LOA 93 and people like you and ED will be whining about it for the next 5 years. I have another contract(Lord willing) and that might be what we need to bring us together for that one.

There are many "yes" voters that argue Parker would understand we really mean "NO" if we all would just pass on flying, taxi real slow, and lie about maintenance write ups. That is if we would just be unprofessional, maybe do a mini wildcat strike, and lie then Parker would finally believe that we find his offer is unacceptable ...

The "yes" voters have no intention whatsoever to express a "no" in any way, but they often suggest "no" voters should perform a wildcat strike... They encourage us to sully our reputations.. And I suppose they wouldn't find any irony in simultaneously calling us "brother"...

Come on down off that soap box and lay out some concrete plans. I'm listening to you, I don't listen to eagledroppings.

The concessions in arbitration is a contract issue... Your smart friends are wrong.
