I read up before taking it and some tips from the past test a few years ago were a big help. There was no international procedures on this one. The biggest help was the "Everything Explained for the Professional Pilot" book and the PDF version of the ATP test bank. You can search key words in the PDF which leads you right to the answer. I'd say about 20-30 questions were an exact replica of the ATP question. Also, be sure to have a chart of weather symbols handy along with decoded METAR and TAF abbreviations. You have about 36 seconds per question and I had 2 minutes to spare at the end. Skip the ones you get stuck on and come back to them when you are finished with the test. It also helps to have another buddy with you to help you find things. You don't really need to study for it, just know where to find everything. Good luck.

I would say you need to study to some extent but only to know where things are quickly. You'll waste most of your time reading the questions so don't mess around looking things up for too long. Definitely DO NOT study only ATP test questions unless they've recently changed the test. There are questions about international ops, more detailed weather theory, etc.
They changed the test about 3 months ago...I was told the old test was too hard, and they changed it to a "standard" ATP-type test that is easy to pass.
I think Atlas would be better off getting rid of the test completely.

Versus some obscure crap written by an office lackey in the head shed.
I took the test the end of December, I studied pretty hard for it since I had heard it was pretty thorough. I was pleasantly surprised, some of the questions are right out of the ATP written but not all. The only questions that caught me off guard were the runway illusion ones, 4 or 5 questions on that subject.
