I have seen things like that in the past as well but the people in question had connections.

Someone "in the know" told me they are moving away from regional people because after few years they tend to leave for more domestic operators. Latest people leaving for UAL and aa didn't help , they said

The company is deflecting their own failures and instead of fixing the things that need fixing, they are blaming everyone around them (pilots, the Union, the ExCo, etc).

Where did you read or hear this? I specifically asked the HR lady I spoke with at the job fair and she said they were going to be there. I then asked if that was a definite and she said yes.

Do schedulers do more than simply cut'n'paste? If they're going to extend the window for outbasing then the following statement should probably be deleted before resending out the intial request. Obviously the volume is low by this point.

"Due to the high volume in requests for Out-Base please reply to this email with your information filled in the spaces provided below."

Those are both OBAP events. The Arlington, VA one is not quite correct and is actually in the area called National Harbor on the MD side of the bridge south of DC.
