I like to commute or travel to work once and then have a bunch of days off and never worry about commuting if needed. I like the idea that as a junior pilot I can still fly to great destinations without waiting for your seniority to get to a certain % to be able to do it (FedEx (unless you are base in Colongne Germany, HK is gone... move to OAK), UPS, and the big pax... you will not have that chance, you have to wait for a long time).
Can’t speak for UPS but this is just straight up false for FedEx. New hires have been going to the 777 and MD in MEM and ANC and doing tons of international flying right off IOE. With the closure of HKG there will be much more on the 767 in OAK as well.

Plenty of former Atlas pilots hired at UPS get assigned ANC 747.

The company only tells the union about a month ahead so there’s no place for the general public to see their plans. For December there’s a 767 class on the 6th, a 747 on 13th and a 777 on the 14th. As to size who knows what the company wants. The last round of classes all had less than 10 show up with just one in the 767 class.

Thanks for the info, so I'm guessing the class dates are approximately 3 weeks apart. So next 777 class date approximately 4th of Jan 2022. I have been told on this forum the 777 has a more stable roster than the 747 which seems to be the way to go.

I know the 777 dos a lot of work for DHL Express (Bahrain hub of DHL) just wondering what are the major destinations they go to, a lot of Middle East or literally anywhere in the world like the 747?

Way less destinations, and I think they don't go to Bahrain anymore, they sent an email with details about the last flight out of there. Chile, Brazil, Germany, South Korea, Japan, China/Hong Kong, and typical LAX/ORD/ANC/MIA. I'm probably missing a couple of places but triple guys can correct me.
