Just had the company presentation and it sounds like the 777 would be the right fit however I’d like to know if split lines are possible and if so how junior or senior I’d have to be.

Split lines go Junior. Just sucks for commuting sometimes.

Hi, just wondering if someone can give me an idea of first year 747 FO gross salary on the new contract? Monthly pay I guess I’m probably most interested in. There is a lot of info on this thread but I think it’s a little out of date now…

The new pay has been done to death in this forum and the new pay rates are clearly stated in the airline profiles on this website.

Are lines being built for 64 hours - or more?

Upgrades running around 2-3 years?

- First Year Pay Structure - Establish $92 an hour for all fleets Increase first year pay by 3% each year in line with other pay scale increases

- New hire pay begins on first day of training at 64 hours of guarantee per a month plus per diem (Conus) $2.85/hour x 24 hours a day

- Grandfather in existing first year pilots (2021 Hires) to preserve higher pay rate (B777 and B747)

2021 hire will make more $$$ first year than 2022 hire first year

This sounds confusing - is there a A-Scale and a B-Scale now?

That would only be true for 747/777 pilots.

Lines vary on fleet and base. Best practice is to budget for min guarantee, but depending on what fleet you are on, there’s a good chance you’ll make quite a bit more than that.

No, upgrade times are not that low, and haven’t been for a while. Hard to tell for sure at this point, but expect 5-6 years for left seat on a wide body. Maybe 3ish years for the 737?

The rate and formula has, how many hours a new pilot can expect has not. Only guarantee?
