Is the Teams meeting for the tech interview a voice-only meeting or is it also video? Wondering if I need to bust my interview clothes out.

Definitely Business attire. This is not a McDonalds interview.

My question wasn’t about what to wear in front of people during an interview and I know it’s not McDonald’s. I’m not familiar with the online-only process so I was wondering what parts, if not all, were video chat and which were voice. If uncertain I was just going to suit up for the whole thing, both days.

Nice shirt an tie. No coat.. The whole thing. Adjust your camera appropriatlly. Underwear optional.. Was dressed better than the interviewer.. And be real clear as to when you can start. Apparentlly wasn't clear enough and lost the gig. Best

Ok great, I’ve only ever flown out for interviews so I want to make sure I have my place (and self) set up properly for this.

Thanks for the other notes. Hope it goes well!

The interview was straight forward. The onboarding process is where things can easily go south.

Email told me to turn off my camera and mute my microphone for the first day where they present about the company. Second day will be business attire for the HR panel and tech interview. Both on Microsoft teams. Good luck!

I would recommend dressing up for the occasion (as in, business casual), if for nothing else, but to get yourself into the interview mood.

Shirt, tie, slacks, suit, whatever you prefer, but that gets you to the right mindset.

If you live in the panhandle unless you’re planning to drive the 6 hours TPA will be a nightmare for you, 1 flight a day on Silver if you’re lucky. MIA 74/77 or IAH 76/74 are your best options.

May I ask how on-boarding can go south?
