Ok, so correct me if I am wrong. If you are gone for a full 17 days, your pay should be based on 82.45 credit hours, assuming you do not fly over 82.45?

That is correct with one but. Training days and travel between your home and Training don't count. And all the Nov bid lines, at least out of JFK were 17 days, so a de facto 82 hour guarantee.

The only problem with the '82 hour guarantee' theory is that there is NO line pay protection so you may be awarded a line that pays 82 hours of JFK reserve and ultimately spend a half a month at home on reserve and shabam a 50 hour guarantee. Just sayin

cheers

And don't forget it is not a full 24 hours on the 1st and 17th day as you don't usually start at 0000z on the first day and unless you get back to base at 2359z on the last day it will be more like 79-80 hours for the month. Still awesome.

Forget about the number of days, your schedule shows how many hours and minutes you are away from base. Divide the hours and convert the minutes to tenths by 4.95 and that is your duty rig. And right now my block time is exceeding my rig time and I am a new guy with 71 hours of block time in a 14 day schedule. That's 21 hours above the 50 hour guarantee Looks like I can keep the house for another month.

New avatar pic...I tried to post a pic but I'm not a compu-geek. If someone has step by step instructions, I'll gladly try to post the larger version later.

Thanks to DaMoose for passing the photo to me...I told you I'd post it here!!

Nicely done...I did hear that two 744 guys aren't (or can't) gonna make this class.

Good luck in training...
