I was told that i would receive the link for the online EVAL on Tuesday but due to some technical issue they had I didn't get it until Thursday. Then when I finally went online to take the test there were issues with the test not being loaded up on the website. I contacted the system administrator and he quickly fixed it so the I could take the exam.

Be sure to fully prepare for the exam, even if you haven't received the call but you have an app with them start studying so that you will be ready once you do get the call. I don't think it is possible to prepare for this exam in just a couple of days.

I did pass the exam and today I got the call for an interview on the 10th of September. I hope many more of you guys will get the call as well.

The technical issues have happened before. Just be persistent but polite to get it straightened out. You did well because you were prepared. That will also get you through the interview.
Congrats and good luck.

jetgirl,
I'm sure you know this...but don't wait for more than a day or two after your phone interview...they frown at that as well, how much, I don't know, but beware of taking too long.

I have no gouge on the questions, but be sure you have a fast Internet connection when you take it. A friend took it on an overnight at a hotel and the connection was slow. Every question with a diagram took forever to download and he only got through 60 or so questions in the hour. Subsequently, he got the "thanks, but no thanks" email.

For those new folks sitting in the wait: I've submitted my CV during last year's opening 8/2012. I have updated every few months (showing interest but not at the stalker level). Attended a few job fairs/conferences. Networked my butt off.

As many have said before: Be ready for the test. Keep your game sharp (quite frankly, this will serve you well for any of the major interviews that are popping up, so this time spent is not a waste).

The posts and advice provided by the current Giant Drivers on this web board will serve you well. Best of luck to all----and if you really want it: Don't give up. There are a few folks on this board that kept at it for over 3 years.
Automatic response? I sent my away on the 20th and didn't receive one. When did they start the auto response?

- GPS Aproaches
- LRC
- Approach plates
- NAT procedures
- Center of Gravity
- RVSM
- Visual Effects
- Pressure Altitude
- True Altitude

Congrats Zap. I got the call last week and took the test two days after and passed as well.

I hope to hear from HR folks concerning the interview dates soon. You are right on the money concerning the test. Make sure when you get the call you are prepared to take it. It was very comprehensive to say the least. Good Luck!

Thanks 8! I hope the interview works out for me as well. The truth is that all of the Atlas people I have dealt with so far have been extremely helpful.

Brokeasspot my background is:
8000 Total
4500 Total PIC
5000 Jet
2500 Jet PIC

All of my jet time is on the A320 for 129 airlines.

In regards to an exam gouge I think the most useful book you can study from is "Everything Explained". Its easy to read and refreshes your memory on some topics you probably haven't studied in a couple of years(if not more) and most importantly it is a great "QRH" for the test.
