FDX - APR Disputed Pairings

About 80% of the DPs(MEM 11) have been picked up after the first night. Instead of beating up on the members, I want to know why our leadership(?) doesn't get off their age 65 azzes and do some leading. Where are the road shows with explicatives and special message lines. Oh, that's right, were in a "non-confrontational environment with the company" right now. We only have 200 DPs. Why be confrontational about that?

It has become abundantly clear that our current practice of highlighting on the internet and emailing the DP offenders is not working. I believe it is time to kick it up a notch and come up with a DP FLYER. We would list all the offenders and scatter copies throughout the crewrooms in MEM/LAX/ANC. I know this was done a year or so ago, but unfortunately that list included people who got the trip on reserve or other circumstances.
We publish a list of Non-Members, and I believe that the people who fly DP's are bordering on NM status.

"IMO the union should have been doing this all along. What does it take to make something as simple as this happen?"
Ask your Block and SIG Reps, your MEC Chairman, or our resident board Reps Tony C and Albie. Maybe they could shed some light on this for all of us? It sure seems like a waste of time and effort to me the way it is done now.

I just spoke with Sally at the union hall... it's 9:00 AM memphis time and couldn't get one of the top three. DW isn't coming in and DM and WR are due in shortly.. I plan to ask them what the union is doing about the dp situation and will report back!

Guys,
Not that hard. Pick the damn things up and drop them right before the assignment window closes the day before.
If you happen to get stuck with it, then fly it and call in fatigued on the disputed leg.
The current SIG process and our way of posting isn't working. These guys are laughing all the way to the bank.
WORST OFFENDER #124293 3 long ones, way to go and screw the rest of us. Somebody who knows him should punch him right in the nose.

I emailed both of them (don't know these guys, but flew with EE) and offered to help get them in contact with contract enforcement if they were put on there by mistake. Haven't gotten a response. I suggest more emails from ANC crews.

And for the 727 Cap seat, only 1 DP has been picked up, 37/22APR08. Looks like it was picked up during the View/Add as a CIA trip. Time for some e-mails
