So how is it a "DP feeding frenzy" if the pairings are no longer disputed? So guys were obviously listening to the SIG and not picking up the pairings because they were still in OT. But you must feel that those who picked up the trips are still $hitbirds for picking up a now, undisputed pairing? What's the problem? Another case of 10% of the crewforce doing 100% of the complaining @ Whinerpilotcentral.com

Gotcha. We do seem to have a problem with that around here. My wife was watching one of those real life detective shows on TV and the detective asked the guy he was interrogating if he suffered from CRS. CRS?

Can't

Maybe it's spreading here?

Anyone who still thinks avoiding DP's is useless is wrong. I just received a call from CRS Drafting for an ANC-NRT-NGO sequence. Since I am near the bottom of the list a whole bunch of guys senior to me turned it down as well. GOOD ON YA ANC Bubbas!!!!!!. Keep up the good work.

Yeah, it is nice, but unfortunately it just takes a few more phone calls.

Maybe. It's a small base and there aren't many guys available.

But even if they routinely find drafters the company notices when a heavily optimized pairing ends up costing 50% more due to draft.

Let that be a lesson for "friends of the DP". If you are going to be an independent contractor, at least hold out for draft.

Default They filled it somehow

Got home late last night and checked messages and had a message from scheduling around 10:00am local. I called them back and said that they had been drafting for a trip, but had filled it. The scheduler said that it was going to Nagoya.
