FDX - APR Disputed Pairings

"Look at 2305/27Apr. Another DP from ANC that was rewritten. It didn't take any time at all for it to disappear"
I saw that but it appeared to me it had been revised to take out the disputed legs. If that is the case I don't see why it isn't OK to pick up? The other one I saw was pretty easy to figure out as they just added D/H's to ANC on either end and kept the 3 legs out of SFS the same. I agree that one should have been left alone. The whole point of disputing pairings is to get them rewritten and the disputed legs taken out. If that is done why can't we pick them up? I am sure someone will point out my misunderstanding here for which I thank you in advance...

"So I guess you picked it up?"
Is that your answer? No I didn't. It was picked up while I was researching to see if it was a DP from ANC. I couldn't find anything disputed about the new pairing though. I will call the union this morning and let you know what I find out..

No problem..Talked to the SIG Chief and he said if they had fixed the issues that caused the pairing to be disputed to begin with it should be OK to pick up. In a perfect world all DP's whether reworked or not would be left alone. The bottom line is to make onerous pairings hard for the company to fill. Having to split it and change the disputed part of the trip accomplishes this to some degree. If it is as painfull for the company to fill it as it is for us to fly it then we may find a lot less DP's in our future...
